What we check — and what we don't claim
Validation APIs love to advertise "99% accuracy". We'd rather tell you exactly what each check does: phone numbers are validated against the international numbering plan with line-type detection; emails get syntax, MX, and disposable-domain checks (an MX pass means the domain accepts mail — mailbox-level SMTP probing is on the roadmap and will be labeled when it ships); IPs get format, bogon, geolocation, and network-operator checks. Every response includes a confidence field and plain-English noteswhen something couldn't be verified.
